Vehicle Technician
Location: Reading
Salary: £42,845 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours, Saturday mornings on a rota
Reference: 30240
My client, a well established and reputable main dealership, is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional aftersales team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, manufacturer approved workshop, benefiting from high standards, structured processes, and a strong focus on training and development. Role Overview Vehicle Technician:
- Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance
- Diagnose faults and perform fault finding
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components
- Cambelt replacement
Requirements Vehicle Technician:
- At least one year's experience in a workshop environment
- Minimum Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical skills
- Reliable work history with consistent attendance
- Own a well stocked toolbox appropriate for workshop duties
