The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Gorseinon. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles, including inspections, servicing, and parts replacement in line with manufacturer and company standards. The Service Technician will use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify root causes, and carry out effective repairs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate service records, collaborating with parts and service teams, and ensuring vehicles are prepared safely and efficiently. The role also requires clear, professional communication with customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and support the company’s commitment to high-quality customer service.

  • Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance for a range of vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and systematic problem-solving methods.
  • Experience in Field Service or workshop-based service environments, with flexibility to support varied service needs.
  • Effective Customer Service skills, including clear communication and a professional, respectful approach.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in automotive technology or vehicle maintenance.
  • Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
  • Attention to detail, focus on safety, and ability to follow manufacturer and regulatory standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to work on-site in Llansamlet on a full-time basis.
