What You Need to Know
To perform maintenance & repair work on sample cylinder and other related sampling equipment, prior to equipment being sent/returned to clients. Ensuring all equipment is serviced, repaired, maintained and tested to the required quality standards. Perform all activities safely and under the direction of the Service Supervisor.

- Assist in creating & maintaining accurate working instructions for all Proserv Service Department Processes.
- Recognise the status and certification requirements of equipment when it arrives at Proserv and action accordingly.
- Service, Maintenance and Periodic Inspection of pressure vessels and associated sampling equipment, in accordance with required quality standards.
- Assembly, Hydrostatic Testing and Gas Testing of pressure vessels and associated Sampling Equipment.
- Preparing equipment for return to customers. Ensuring all equipment is loaded and secured safely and in accordance with Proserv Quality Standards.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Mechanical based work experience & Service/Assembly Technician Experience
- Hydrostatic and Gas Testing Experience
- Work unsupervised, and to take responsibility for effectiveness of own work,
- Respond effectively to demands of a high and varied workload with changing job priorities.
- Will be an enthusiastic, flexible self-starter.
- Strong communications skills
- Flexible and able to support and interface with people at all levels.
- Approachable, resourceful, drive and motivation, assertive
- Proactive
- Effective Team player
- Possess a good level of General Education
- Good level of written and oral communication skills, knowledge and understanding of QHSE Systems and procedures & understanding and use of various types of measuring equipment.

Preferred
- Mechanical Technician Qualification, Time served Mechanical Apprentice.
- Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings and technical work instructions. Knowledge and understanding of inspection methods.
