Vehicle Technician
Location: Ashford
Salary: £36,831 Basic + Bonus, OTE £40,000+
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, No Weekends
We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership in Ashford. This role is perfect for a technician looking to work Monday to Friday while benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training, excellent career progression, and a modern workshop environment.

Vehicle Technician Role
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, warranty work, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Complete routine maintenance including oil services, cambelt replacements, and general mechanical repairs
- Conduct electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs) and complete accurate digital job cards
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Collaborate with the workshop team to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction
Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
- Experience with servicing, diagnostics, and repair work
- MOT Licence advantageous but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence
