Join Interfood as a skilled, commercially aware Service Technician supporting food manufacturers across the UK and Ireland. This customer-facing role offers long-term development in specialist equipment and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service, and maintain Interfood machinery safely and professionally.
- Diagnose breakdowns, resolve faults, and minimize customer downtime.
- Optimise equipment performance and identify opportunities for parts, upgrades, contracts, and training.
- Provide customer handovers, operator training, technical advice, and remote support.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all safety and site requirements.

About You
You will ideally:
- Be apprentice-trained or time-served in electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled engineering.
- Have strong fault-finding skills, preferably with an electrical bias.
- Understand pneumatic and electrical controls, production machinery, or automation.
- Have field service or site maintenance experience, ideally within food manufacturing, processing, or packaging.
- Have knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, machine software, EOL inspection, or vision systems.
- Be proactive, organized, and confident working independently with customers.
- Be flexible about travel, overnight stays, and working hours.
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
