Service Technician – York Site
Location: York About the Role
We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our York site. We offer a market-leading salary and a competitive bonus scheme, with full details discussed during the interview.

About You
As a Service Technician/Mechanic, you’ll undertake minor and major mechanical repairs, including engine work, to ensure vehicles return to manufacturer specification.

- Preferred qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and experience in franchised dealerships or independent garages, though experience is not strictly required.
- Desired but not essential:
- MOT Tester certification
- Used car preparation experience
- High Voltage (EV) certification (not mandatory)
- Must have:
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to use workshop tools and equipment safely

To thrive in this role, you will need: ✔ Drive and passion for high standards in mechanical repair ✔ Confidence in using workshop equipment safely ✔ Proven experience or qualification in a franchised/dealer or independent mechanic setting

Work-Life Balance:

Working Hours
40 hours per week over a 4-day rota (maximum 1 Saturday for every 3 weekends required). Full-time licence applicants only (BMV legal standard compliance).

Professional equipment is required—your own toolkit must be maintained and brought to work.
