What you'll be doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Reconnect is a care after custody service that seeks to improve the continuity of care of people leaving prison and Liaison and Diversion works with those following their initial contact with the criminal justice system.

Whilst not clinical services, these services offers liaison, advocacy, signposting, and support to facilitate engagement with community-based health and support services.

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Use your lived experience of the criminal justice system to help to engage some of the most vulnerable service users as they leave prison.
  • Be involved in the daily support of children and/or adults, including those from hard-to-reach communities to engage and navigate through the Criminal Justice System.
  • The role is to support the service user in accessing support to address the full scope of identified health needs, including substance misuse (alcohol and drugs), mental and physical health, homelessness, learning disabilities, exploitation, safeguarding and social care issues.
  • Actively supporting service users in the community by accompanying them to appointments and advocating in so that they receive the right support.
