About The Role
Based in Redditch, this full-time Service & Warranty Technician position with Pertemps Redditch Industrial offers £13 per hour. You will join an established manufacturer supplying defence, rail, automotive, and marine sectors. Core duties involve booking returns via SAP and the RMA process, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and completing refurbishments or overhauls on returned goods. Inspection of items is also required. Working hours run Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.30pm, finishing at 1.30pm on Fridays. The company
The company is an established and leading manufacturer of products and systems to various industries such as defence, rail, automotive and marine. They are seeking to recruit a Service & Warranty Technician for their operations in Redditch.
Salary - £13 per hour.
Hours of work are; Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm

Responsibilities & Duties
- Booking in and out of related product, using SAP system and RMA process.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repair, refurbishments and overhaul of returned product.
- Inspect returned product, identify faults and troubleshoot issues.
- Dealing with customer returns and providing customer support.
- Liaise with quality team on findings from product issues.
- From time to time provide on-site support.

Experience and qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of reading and understanding technical drawings
- Computer literate - knowledge of SAP
- Strong interpersonal skills
The company are based in Redditch so is commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Solihull, Worcester, Droitwich, Dudley, Stratford upon Avon, Evesham.
