Role Description
The ServiceNow Architect role is a remote, contract position responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that align with client business requirements. On a day-to-day basis, the architect collaborates with stakeholders to gather and translate functional and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow architectures and configurations.
The role involves:
- Leading solution design sessions
- Overseeing integrations with other enterprise systems
- Guiding development teams on best practices and platform standards
The ServiceNow Architect also reviews and improves existing implementations, ensures adherence to governance and security policies, and supports project managers with technical estimates, risk identification, and documentation. Additionally, this role may provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other ServiceNow developers and administrators.

- Strong ServiceNow Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience defining scalable, secure platform solutions.
- Hands-on Software Development experience on the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, scripting, and customization.
- Expertise in Integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and tools using APIs, web services, and integration frameworks.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities in planning, coordinating, and delivering ServiceNow projects or modules.
- Deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules, including best practices and governance.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist are highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures, security practices, and enterprise architecture frameworks is a plus.
