AgileSource is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of ServiceNow-based service management capabilities. This role requires a strong Business Analyst who can effectively engage with stakeholders, elicit and document requirements, and translate business needs into clear ServiceNow solutions.

This is not a highly technical ServiceNow specialist position, nor is it dependent on ServiceNow certifications. We are looking for a BA with practical ServiceNow experience and a strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across ServiceNow-related initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather, challenge, and refine requirements.
- Document business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Translate business requirements into clear ServiceNow requirements for development and delivery teams.
- Work closely with ServiceNow developers, platform owners, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Support solution design discussions from a business and functional perspective.
- Assist with testing, validation, and business acceptance activities.
- Ensure requirements maintain alignment with business objectives and operational needs.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within ServiceNow environments.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Experience translating business requirements into ServiceNow functional requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
- Experience working with Service Catalogue Management and service request processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to produce high-quality BA artefacts and documentation.

Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM.
- Experience creating user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a strong Business Analyst first and foremost, with practical experience working within ServiceNow environments. They will be confident engaging stakeholders, defining requirements, and bridging the gap between business needs and ServiceNow platform capabilities without necessarily being a hands-on technical specialist.
