Senior ServiceNow HRSD / Employee Relations Consultant
We’re looking for a senior HR and Employee Relations specialist with strong ServiceNow HRSD experience to support a large-scale transformation programme.
This is a strategic role sitting between HR/ER, business leadership and ServiceNow, with responsibility for shaping the future operating model, defining the transformation roadmap and providing senior-level design authority.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the senior subject-matter expert across HR and Employee Relations, bringing hands-on knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and ER casework, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, absence, performance and workforce relations.
- Work directly with senior HR and ER leadership to challenge and validate current processes and define a credible, prioritised future-state vision.
- Help shape a globally aligned HR/ER operating model, defining how global and regional ways of working, governance and processes should operate.
- Benchmark existing HR and ER practices against industry best practice, identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation.
- Define a multi-year digitalisation and automation roadmap for HR and ER, underpinned by ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Employee Relations case management.
- Translate HR and ER requirements into ServiceNow capabilities, advising on what is achievable through configuration versus customisation and how delivery should be phased.
- Provide design authority across HR/ER solutions, ensuring process, data and organisational decisions are scalable and aligned with the wider ServiceNow roadmap.
- Advise senior stakeholders and steering committees on priorities, sequencing and the automation opportunities that will deliver the greatest value, including Virtual Agent, workflow automation, knowledge management and intelligent case routing.
- Bring strong, current ServiceNow expertise from complex enterprise environments, with practical experience configuring and operating HRSD/ER, ensuring transformation decisions are grounded in what the platform can realistically deliver.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
