ServiceNow Developer
Salary: Up to £85,000 + Benefits
Location: Hybrid (UK - office, client site and home working)
Security Requirements: Active SC Clearance and Sole UK Nationality are essential for this role.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a growing technology team delivering innovative ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a combination of project delivery and platform enhancement, helping to improve business processes, automate workflows and enhance the end-user experience.
Working alongside technical specialists and automation teams, you will play a key role in designing, developing and optimising ServiceNow solutions with a particular focus on Virtual Agent and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules and integrations.
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow Virtual Agent capabilities.
- Develop and support workflow automation using RPA technologies.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimise platform performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform and development standards.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing and customising the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, scripting and integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow Virtual Agent and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Strong JavaScript development skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Active SC (Security Check) Clearance.
- Sole UK National (dual nationality cannot be considered for this position).
- Eligible to work on secure UK Government programmes.
- Able to work in a hybrid environment, including client sites and UK offices as required.
