We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer with strong ServiceNow implementation and development experience to support and enhance key Information Security processes across the organization. This role owns the end-to-end delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow modules.
The successful candidate will be comfortable gathering business requirements, mapping processes, writing user stories, and configuring and testing platform enhancements. They will partner with stakeholders across business, technology, and security teams, while working closely with global colleagues — including the U.S. team, offshore support teams, and external vendors — to deliver scalable solutions aligned with ITIL, CMDB, and ServiceNow best practices. The role serves as a key EMEA point of contact, owning projects from requirements through development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.

- Platform delivery and ownership. Own the end-to-end delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow modules supporting Information Security processes, from initial requirements through to deployment and ongoing support.
- Security workflow enablement. Support and enhance workflows for Machine Identity Protection (Digital Certificates/PKI), Illumio Network Segmentation, Vulnerability Response, and adjacent security processes.
- Requirements and process design. Gather business requirements, map current and target-state processes, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and translate stakeholder needs into practical platform solutions.
- Configuration and development. Develop and maintain business rules, UI policies, workflows, dashboards, access controls, and wider platform configurations using JavaScript and native ServiceNow capabilities.
- Testing and release. Configure and test platform enhancements, coordinate user acceptance testing, and manage controlled promotion of changes through to production.
- Platform health and data quality. Monitor platform performance and ensure strong platform health, data quality, CMDB integrity, and secure access management across supported modules.
- User support and service management. Provide day-to-day user support, managing ServiceNow-related queries, requests, and incidents in line with agreed service levels.
- Stakeholder and vendor partnership. Act as a key EMEA point of contact, working closely with the U.S. team, offshore support teams, and external vendors to deliver consistent, scalable outcomes.
- Documentation and standards. Produce and maintain technical and process documentation, ensuring alignment with ITIL, CMDB, and ServiceNow best practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
