ServiceNow Developer Consultant
Department: IT Support, Infrastructure & Security
Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time
Location: UK, Remote
Description
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer Consultant to work closely with the Service Delivery Manager on a defined programme of ServiceNow improvements.
There is a primary focus of assisting a rollout of HiBob and developing workflows and integrations between the two systems.
The Supplier will provide specialist ServiceNow consultancy services to translate agreed business requirements into practical and scalable solutions across ITSM, ITAM, workflow automation, integrations, and Employee Center.
Under agreed Statements of Work, the Supplier will deliver solution designs, configured and developed functionality, test evidence, deployment support, technical documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials. The Supplier will determine the appropriate delivery approach and sequencing of the services, subject to agreed deliverables, timescales, architectural standards, and security requirements.
Contract Type: Fixed Term 3 Months
Weekly Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5
What Will You Do?
- Develop workflows and integrations between HiBob and ServiceNow to improve already developed Joiner, Mover, and Leaver workflows, increase manager ownership, and reduce manual administration for the HR and IT teams.
- Identify and develop additional Agentic AI workflows that can improve the user and agent experience.
- Implement custom ServiceNow approval processes through Microsoft Teams, particularly for sensitive requests requiring approval from senior stakeholders.
- Automate the fulfillment of pre-approved Service Catalog requests, including the use of SSO, SCIM, Entra ID groups, IntegrationHub, and other relevant integrations.
- Build and improve Catalog Items and workflows for event-related requests, including automated emails, confirmations, and fulfillment activities.
- Design and configure an asset management solution for digital training assets, ensuring appropriate ownership, lifecycle tracking, and reporting, copying templates already in place for asset management modules for separate purposes.
- Improve the Employee Center structure, taxonomy, and user experience in alignment with Common Service Data Model principles.
- Provide platform development support for the rollout and continued improvement of Problem Management.
- Advise on the capabilities and limitations of the ServiceNow platform and recommend solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practice.
- Produce clear technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the internal Service Delivery and support teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
