We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic ServiceNow Administrator / Developer for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
The ServiceNow Administrator / Developer will administer, develop and improve the ServiceNow platform, delivering secure and reliable workflows and integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
This hands-on role combines platform ownership, development, operational support and stakeholder engagement, translating business requirements into well-governed technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform administration and support
- Administer and maintain users, roles, access controls, forms, tables, notifications, service catalogues and workflows.
- Monitor platform health, resolve incidents and defects, and support upgrades, patches and regression testing.
- Manage development, test and production releases under agreed change controls.
- Maintain concise platform, configuration and support documentation.

Development and automation
- Design, build, test and deploy solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes and Scheduled Jobs.
- Develop reusable, supportable solutions that follow ServiceNow standards and minimise customisation.
- Produce essential technical designs, test evidence and release documentation.

API and third-party integrations
- Design, build and support integrations between ServiceNow, Salesforce and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Define data mappings, transformation, authentication, monitoring, error handling and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot integration, synchronisation, performance and security issues with system owners.

Stakeholder engagement and governance
- Gather and challenge requirements, assess feasibility and translate needs into practical technical solutions.
- Explain ServiceNow options, risks and constraints to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support platform governance, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning and knowledge transfer
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must Have
- ServiceNow: Strong enterprise administration, configuration and development experience.
- Development: Strong ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Script Includes.
- Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, IntegrationHub, MID Server, JSON/XML, OAuth and secure authentication.
- ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalogue and CMDB processes.
- Delivery: Requirements, design, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication.

Desirable skills and experience
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD or relevant CIS certification.
- Experience with ATF, Agile delivery and code review practices.
- Exposure to ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSM, Performance Analytics, Service Portal or UI Builder.
- Integration experience with Salesforce, Azure, Active Directory
