ServiceNow Platform Architect
Location: Remote
Contract: Inside IR35
Duration: 12 Months (with potential extension)
Immediate start
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber ServiceNow Platform Architect to lead the design and hands-on delivery of an enterprise-grade digital transformation programme. This role is focused on modernising IT operations and field service capability through ITSM, ITOM, and FSM integration.
You will act as the technical lead driving automated event-to-incident correlation across multi-platform telemetry, implementing dynamic FSM scheduling, and enforcing robust CMDB/CSDM 4.0 architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define end-to-end platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, and FSM, balancing Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) best practices with complex business requirements.
- Event-to-Incident Automation: Design and implement complex event correlation across heterogeneous telemetry tools, driving noise reduction and automated incident orchestration.
- FSM Dynamic Scheduling: Lead the architecture and optimization of Field Service Management dynamic scheduling, dispatcher mechanics, and workforce optimization.
- CSDM and Service Mapping: Establish and govern the CMDB/CSDM foundation to ensure accurate dependency mapping and event enrichment across the enterprise.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with C-level client stakeholders, manage technical governance, and guide cross-functional delivery teams through implementation constraints.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
