ServiceNow Product Owner | Hertfordshire | Hybrid | £70,000 + Benefits

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ServiceNow Product Owner to take ownership of a key ServiceNow environment within a growing organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can combine strong ServiceNow expertise with product ownership, stakeholder management and Agile delivery. You’ll play a central role in shaping the platform roadmap, driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to maximise the value ServiceNow delivers across the business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll be the key link between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring the platform evolves in line with organisation priorities to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Platform Vision & Roadmap: Define and maintain a clear ServiceNow vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring it remains aligned with wider business goals and priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ICT teams and third-party partners, translating business needs into clear and actionable platform requirements.
  • Product Backlog: Take ownership of the ServiceNow backlog, prioritising initiatives based on business value, user needs, technical considerations and available capacity.
  • Requirements & User Stories: Create clear, well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements to enable effective development and delivery.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead initiatives across the full product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and gathering requirements through to implementation, deployment and adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance platform functionality, streamline processes and improve the overall user experience, maximising the value of ServiceNow.
  • Business Value: Ensure platform enhancements deliver tangible outcomes, improving operational efficiency, supporting strategic business objectives and creating a positive experience for users.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a ServiceNow Product Owner / Manager, Business Analyst, Platform Owner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow functionality, capabilities and best practices.
  • Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams and senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on business value and outcomes.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive initiatives from idea through to delivery
