The Role
ServiceNow Solution Architect
Your responsibilities:
- Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories)
- Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development
- Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories
- Must be self-directed and detail-oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
- Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
- Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required
- Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
- Provide any required training to the users on the user stories
- Knowledge and ability to configure, manage, and maintain MID servers
- Proficient in configuring & maintaining credentials and working with command line console
- Ability and knowledge in Discovery Schedules & troubleshoot with device owners
- Knowledge to implement Cloud & Tag based discovery
- Ability to communicate & gather requirements from application teams to build a service map
- Customize/Develop IRE rules, Script Includes, business rules, scheduled jobs, Patterns, Probes & Sensors
- Maintains event management integrations and application
- Proficient in configuring/modifying event rules, Field Mapping, alert management rules & flows (Flow Designer)
- Ability to configure de-duplication & correlation rule
- Configure and customize Report & Dashboard
- Co-ordinate with Infrastructure/Application team for requirement and troubleshooting

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Experience as a Senior Technical Lead / Architect.
- Experience of ITSM, ITOM suite (CMDB /Discovery/Service Mapping/Event Management) within ServiceNow
- Basic Knowledge in Cloud Fundamentals, Windows/Unix admin skills
- Intermediate knowledge and ability of understanding Infrastructure environment setup (Server/Network/Storage/etc.)
- Good understanding in Monitoring tool
- Experienced in ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, Architecture level configurations
- Knowledge and experience with base platform & reports
- Good experience in Scripting & RegEX (JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell)
- Experience in integration using REST API / SOAP / any other technology
- Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
- Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging, and production environments that are reliable with high availability
- Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
- Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
