Requirements of the role

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical authority for the ServiceNow platform, providing technical guidance that enables teams and stakeholders to make informed decisions and deliver effective solutions
  • Define the future direction of the platform by producing and presenting clear architectural designs that support scalability, stability and business outcomes
  • Improve quality and reliability by reviewing proposed solutions and recommending improvements before release into production environments
  • Enhance platform performance through monitoring, identifying opportunities to improve health, efficiency and user experience
  • Advance continuous improvement initiatives by turning optimisation opportunities into deliverable work items and supporting their effective implementation
  • Resolve complex platform challenges by providing support, identifying root causes and enabling long-term fixes that minimise recurring issues
  • Deliver high-value enhancements through the development and deployment of solutions that enhance platform performance and support ongoing operational excellence
