ServiceNow IRM / SecOps Technical Consultants

UK Remote | £50,000-£90,000 depending on experience

I'm working with an established ServiceNow consultancy that is continuing to grow its Risk and Security practice following a strong pipeline of new and existing client work.

They're looking for Technical Consultants at different levels with experience across ServiceNow IRM, SecOps or both. Whether your background is focused on Risk Management, Policy and Compliance, Vendor Risk, Audit Management, Security Incident Response or Vulnerability Response, there is flexibility to shape the position around your main area of expertise.

This is a genuinely client-facing role where you'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle. You'll lead workshops, understand the client's challenges and turn those requirements into practical ServiceNow solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to influence design decisions, challenge requirements where appropriate and make sure what is delivered works properly for the people using it.

You'll be joining an experienced team with strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and plenty of work ahead of them. It would suit someone who wants more ownership of their projects, greater exposure to clients and the chance to develop their expertise across complex risk and security environments.

The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to client sites when required. Due to the nature of some of the projects, you'll need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong experience across ServiceNow IRM, SecOps or both
