Insight Global are seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a large global technology and enterprise services organisation.
This position requires 1 day onsite per week in Sutton for a 6-month Contract-to-Hire engagement inside IR35.
As the ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for the development, governance, support, and continuous improvement of a large enterprise ServiceNow platform. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, people management, platform strategy, and delivery oversight. You will help drive key initiatives across ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, platform upgrades, automation, AI adoption, and engineering best practice.

- Experience leading ServiceNow development or engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and technical coaching.
- Strong hands-on expertise across ServiceNow, including:
- ITSM
- ITAM (HAM Pro and SAM Pro)
- CMDB, Discovery, and IRE
- HRSD
- Strong development experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, Service Catalog, and scripting.
- Experience owning ServiceNow upgrades, patching, testing, release management, and production deployments.
- Advanced Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience, including automated regression testing and upgrade validation.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, SSO/SAML, and secure platform integrations.
- Passion for ServiceNow innovation, including AI capabilities such as Now Assist and intelligent automation.

Plusses Include:
- ServiceNow architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
- ITOM, Vulnerability Response, Security Operations, or SPM experience.
- Experience driving platform modernisation and AI initiatives.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery, CIS-ITOM, or ITIL v4.
This opportunity would suit a technical leader who enjoys balancing people management, platform ownership, architectural decision-making, and hands-on ServiceNow engineering while helping shape the future direction of a critical enterprise platform.
