We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow UI Portal Designer to support the design and delivery of a new ServiceNow portal.

3 Month Contract (Rolling)
£400 - £425 P.D (Inside IR35)
1 Day Per Week - London
ASAP Start

This is an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension. The successful consultant will have a proven track record of designing high-quality, user-centric ServiceNow portals and be capable of adding value from day one in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the UI/UX design of a new ServiceNow portal.
  • Create intuitive, accessible, and user-centred portal experiences.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts.
  • Ensure designs align with ServiceNow best practices and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and wider delivery teams to support successful implementation.
  • Provide recommendations on portal structure, navigation, and user journeys.
  • Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder discussions where required.

Essential Experience

  • Extensive experience designing ServiceNow portals and user interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centred design methodologies, and accessibility standards.
  • Proven experience delivering ServiceNow portal projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Experience producing wireframes, prototypes, and other design artefacts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver value from the outset.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Employee Centre, Service Portal, or other ServiceNow front-end technologies.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices and digital service design standards.
  • Experience working within regulated or large-scale organisational environments.

Contract Details

  • Contract Length: Initial 3 months (extension potential)
  • Location: Primarily remote
  • On-Site Requirement: Occasional attendance, potentially one day per week
