Job Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for identifying and solving problems through analytics and statistical models using data analytics, programming, and statistical models. Data analyst will focus on combining data to find new patterns relevant to the business or other stakeholders.
The Data Analyst will follow the data analytics lifecycle – understand end-user requirements, collect necessary data, clean and analyse data, creating visualizations to present insights. Data mining, cleaning and feature engineering to predict the future results.

You will support your colleagues within the Customer Experience, Business Support and Transformation team with business support and transformation projects and develop reporting solutions to support existing and new processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- The extraction and analysis of complex data from multiple sources to the specifications required by the business, this will include using the Vertiv Critical Insight monitoring platform as part of the major expansion of the ESAAS pilot project with the addition of 40 sites.
- Developing, delivering and maintaining a suite of reports and dashboards to enable the business to meet customer demands whilst operating as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Developing a thorough understanding of business objectives and issues, interpreting these needs into the requirements of internal and external customers.
- Involvement with the development, testing and deployment of new business systems across EMEA. Building specifications on the data fields from the business system where required.
- Support the EMEA Service Operations team with reporting solutions, identifying trends, and providing recommendations based on data.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst for a minimum of 3 years
- Degree level education in a relevant area, for example Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistical Modelling
- Excellent understanding of and ability to use several programming languages including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services
- Understanding of large data systems and using appropriate techniques to retrieve, define and publish data models.
- Familiar with using a range of data sources including Oracle EBS, Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc
- Excellent customer service & strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-starter, ability to plan, organise and manage time effectively with an ability to work under pressure.
- You will be expected to operate individually and as part of a team.
