Position: Sessional GP

Location: Edinburgh

Rate: £85-90 p/h

Hours: Flexible

YourGP is recruiting a GP within our Edinburgh clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering patient care and providing a friendly and reassuring service.

Candidates are expected to have relevant experience within a medical practice (ideally at least 5 years working as a GP), possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working autonomously.

Our GP appointments are normally 15 to 30 minutes long, with new patients booked for a minimum of 20 minutes, allowing time for you to provide the best service possible. The additional time will allow you to get to know patients better and be able to pay attention to the little things, in a low-stress, patient-focused environment. Training on our IT systems will be provided.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
