About Us
We are a small GMS practice just under 4000 patients (but growing rapidly) in Liverpool.
Currently 2 Partners, Salaried GP,Practice nurse and other allied staff.
Training practice for GP Trainees and undergraduate students from Liverpool University.
Very proactive within our PCN and have recruited several roles including First Contact Physio Practitioner, Nurse Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Prescribers and Well-Being counsellors.
Spacious, modern purpose-built premises with free dedicated parking.
The Role
The successful GP will work 6 sessions per week and will be involved in:
- Face-to-face and telephone consultations.
- Management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Undertaking appropriate home visits for patients unable to attend the practice.
- Reviewing investigation results and clinical correspondence.
- Appropriate referrals and use of Advice & Guidance.
- Safe and effective prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship.
- Participation in clinical meetings and practice governance activities.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, administrative staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining high-quality and timely clinical records.
- Contributing to clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
- Supporting the practice's commitment to clinical governance and CQC standards.
- Opportunities to become involved in teaching and supporting medical students, where appropriate.

Essential Criteria
- We welcome applications from experienced GPs and newly qualified GPs who are GMC registered and on the NHS Performers List.
- Committed to safe, effective and patient-centred care.
- Reliable, professional and organised.
- Excellent communicators and team players.
- Interested in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement.
- Interested in medical education and teaching, although previous teaching experience
