About The Opportunity
As a Sessional Teacher of Sport, you will plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in Fitness and Sports Massage Therapy for students with a range of abilities. You’ll create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, adapting your teaching to individual needs and helping students make strong progress from their individual starting points. You’ll monitor achievement, provide meaningful feedback and support students to develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence they need to progress into further study or employment.

About You
You’ll bring strong, up-to-date knowledge and recent industry experience within Fitness and Sports Massage Therapy, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll hold Level 2 qualifications in English and maths, a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, Level 3 Personal Training qualification and Level 3 Sports Massage and Therapy qualification. A recognised teaching qualification is required, although we welcome applicants willing to work towards this. Previous teaching experience within further education would be advantageous but is not essential.
