Night Shift Injection Moulding Setter / Supervisor
Rochester
£36-45,000 basic per annum dependant on experience
5.45pm-4am Monday to Thursday
A growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter / Supervisor to join its night shift team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Setter looking to progress into supervision, or an established Supervisor who enjoys a hands-on technical role. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will oversee a team of six operators and ensure the night shift runs safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Set and start injection moulding machines
- Carry out mould tool changes
- Troubleshoot moulding, machine and process issues
- Optimise cycle times, quality and productivity
- Lead and support a team of six operators
- Monitor production and minimise downtime
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Promote Health & Safety, housekeeping and 5S standards
- Support continuous improvement and automation projects
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams

About You
- Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician is essential
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and troubleshooting
- Experience with mould tool changes
- Able to work independently and make decisions on night shift
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Hands-on, proactive approach to problem solving
- Previous supervisory/team leader experience is desirable
- Experience with automation, robots, Lean or ISO systems would be advantageous
