Setting Out Engineer Position
We are recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer to join a respected UK civil engineering contractor, working on a project in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Setting Out Engineer who is passionate about delivering projects to the highest standard while advancing their career.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the commercial performance of the project.
- Prepare and implement RAMS to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, undertake risk assessments, and report incidents or near misses.
- Support the Project Manager / Contracts Manager in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Carry out additional Site Engineer duties as needed to meet project demands.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Setting Out, Site Engineer, Agent / Sub Agent, or Section Engineer
- CSCS and SMSTS certifications, plus two recent professional references.
- Experience in Civils, Groundworks, Piling, Pump Stations, or Water projects.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.

Compensation
- Pay: £300 - 350 per day (depending upon experience).
- Duration: Long Term Project.
- Hours: 10 hour shifts (Monday - Friday currently).
