EMRS Settlement Analyst (Grade 8)

We’re looking for an EMRS Settlement Analyst (Grade 8) to join our EMRS Operations team at Elexon on a permanent basis.

In this role, you’ll support the accurate and timely settlement of the Contracts for Difference (CfD), Capacity Market (CM) and Regulated Asset Base (RAB) schemes. Working across operational finance, settlement data and customer support, you’ll help ensure payments, reconciliations, credit positions and operational processes are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute daily settlement and operational finance processes, ensuring EMR charges are processed accurately and on time
  • Process data feeds, exceptions, payments, invoices, debt and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and validate EMR customer records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor Credit Cover positions and process payments and Letters of Credit
  • Support the annual Pre-qualification Credit Cover collection process
  • Produce and analyse daily and monthly reports, investigating and resolving discrepancies or imbalances
  • Provide high-quality support to customers and stakeholders through the EMRS Service Desk
  • Work with third-party service providers to support EMRS Metering operations and maintain data integrity
  • Maintain complex EMR Party aggregation rules and process Electricity Intensive Industries (EII) exemption requests
  • Support incident and problem management and identify opportunities to improve operational processes
  • Contribute to compliance and assurance activities including ISAE3402, ISO9001 and ISO27001

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
