Settlements Analyst
Reports to: Industry Settlements Manager
Location: Nottingham Head Office - Fully office-based role
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
Based in Nottingham, we are looking to expand our Settlements Team due to continued success & growth and have created an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional, to help support and optimise our Settlements Performance within the industry.

What We Need From Yü
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Have a working knowledge of key principles of Electricity and Gas Settlements that underpin Supplier’s Operation.
- Managing internal and external customers and third parties to ensure that our customers’ usage is settled timely and accurately with relevant industry parties.
- Assess customers’ accounts to ensure that their usage is in line with amount that has been billed and vice versa and working collaboratively to resolve misalignments.
- Monitor and resolve exceptions received from industry regulators i.e., XOSERVE, ELEXON and REC, to ensure that they are resolved timely and at root causes wherever possible. Examples of these exceptions are D0095, D0203, D0310, Elec and Gas Fail Reads and other rejections and corrections tasks.
- Work with industry dataflows and large data set and you will be required to understand the structure and their usage.
- Experience in building effective working relationships with BSC and Gas agents i.e., DC, DA, MOP, DNOs, MAM, XOSERVE etc., and other stakeholders.
- Optimise Industry Settlements Performance for NHH and Gas meters and working with Metering team to improve HH Settlements Performance.
- Reduce impacts to P.V.S by aligning records and ensure accuracy of data held by relevant industry parties and our records are up to date.
- Be flexible and a strong team player, with a can-do attitude.
- Assist Management with ad-hoc queries as required and where appropriate, this may include annual audits and regulatory tasks.
