A long-established global wealth management and investment processing business is hiring an External Custody Analyst to sit at the heart of its operations function working directly with HNW and UHNW clients who retain their own custodial arrangements.

This is a client-facing role where you'll own the day-to-day operational activity across these accounts and become the go-to subject matter expert for the Investment Management clients you support, both virtually and in person.

What you'll be doing

  • Process and approve daily trade activity in a multi-currency environment (Funds, ETFs, Equities, FX)
  • Monitor client orders and trade flows, placing and executing trades to deadline
  • Handle hedge fund account opening and processing
  • Manage your own workflow queues to hit internal and external cut-offs and SLAs
  • Process ongoing account maintenance — monetary and non-monetary transactions — via proprietary systems
  • Resolve complex client queries and technical support requests end to end
  • QA daily workloads to spot errors and trends, and recommend solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, brokers and custodians

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
