Sewing Machinist – Experienced

Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £12.71 (incresed when taken on perm)
Job Type: Temporary/Permanent

We are currently looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our client’s busy team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist who is confident working with industrial sewing machines and a range of different materials.

The Role

You will be working at a sewing workstation/bench, operating the company’s sewing machines to produce high-quality finished products.

Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist is essential. This is not a hand-sewing role, so you must have previous experience using sewing machines in a professional working environment.

Experience working on large jobs or items, particularly with leather, canvas or other heavy/hard fabrics, would be highly desirable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
