Job Title: Sewing Machinist (Industrial)

Location: Warrington (WA4 6PS)

Salary: £13.00- £14.50 p/hr

Shifts: Monday- Thursday - 8am to 4.45pm and Friday 8am to 1pm

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Our client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit an experienced 'Sewing Machinist' to join their Production team.

You will play a vital role in the crafting of high-quality products, working with various fabrics, mainly PVC to deliver precision and excellence in every piece.

As the Sewing Machinist, you will;

  • Work on industrial sewing machines, sewing mainly PVC fabrics.
  • Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and specifications.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines with a walking foot.
  • Maintain consistent quality.
  • Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Inspect finished items to ensure they meet company quality standards.
  • Keep workspace clean, organised, and safe at all times.

  • Previous experience of industrial sewing.
  • Strong knowledge of different stitching techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good time management.
