We're recruiting on behalf of our client in Kirriemuir for Sewing Machine Operators to join their growing production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with industrial sewing experience, although those with a background in tailoring, dressmaking or textile production are also encouraged to apply.
Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in producing specialist textile products while benefiting from full training, stable hours and the potential for a long-term career opportunity.
The Role
Following training, you will operate industrial sewing machinery to produce high-quality technical textile products, ensuring all work meets strict quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Producing products to exact quality specifications
- Monitoring productivity and meeting production deadlines
- Carrying out routine quality checks and completing documentation
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
- Reporting defects, faults or operational issues promptly
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily targets
- Supporting additional production activities as required
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Previous sewing machine operation experience or machine operating experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Reliable transport to accommodate shift patterns
- Good level of physical fitness for a production environment

Preferred
- Industrial sewing machine experience
- Tailoring or dressmaking experience
- Manufacturing or technical textiles experience
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - Rotating Double Day Shift
06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
