Are you an experienced Sewing Machinist looking to join a well-established manufacturer producing high-quality furniture parts and covers?

Location: Morley, LS27

Pay: £12.80 to £14 per hour

Must Haves

  • Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist
  • Experience using industrial sewing machines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pride in producing high-quality finished products
  • Ability to work from job sheets and production instructions

Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Friday: 7:00am – 11:00am

Are you a skilled Sewing Machinist who takes pride in producing quality work? We're recruiting for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a successful manufacturer producing furniture parts and bespoke furniture covers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sewing Machinist who enjoys working with a variety of materials in a clean, organised and supportive environment.

As a Sewing Machinist, you'll be responsible for accurately sewing furniture components and covers to the highest standards. Working from job sheets and production instructions, you'll ensure every item meets strict quality requirements while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sewing furniture parts and bespoke furniture covers
  • Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
  • Reading and following production instructions and job sheets
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure excellent quality
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive production team

Desirable Skills
