About the Company

Global International Trading is a manufacturer of made-to-measure window blinds and a wholesaler of blind materials and components. Trading under the Style brand and based in Needham Market, near Ipswich, we are looking for hardworking, motivated, and energetic people to join our production team as a Sewing Machinist on Shift 1, working Monday to Friday (06:00 to 14:00).

Your Role

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be involved in the production and assembly of our made-to-measure window blinds, operating industrial sewing machines and ensuring products meet our high-quality standards.

  • Operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture window blinds and components.
  • Following production specifications and quality standards.
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure a high standard of workmanship.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Meeting daily production targets.
  • Working effectively and communicating positively with colleagues across the production department.

Key Qualities

  • Previous sewing machine experience preferred.
