Sexual Health Nurse

Fully Remote | 22.5 Hours per Week | Permanent

Are you an experienced Sexual Health Nurse looking for a genuinely flexible role where you can deliver high-quality care whilst working entirely remotely?

Following the recent acquisition of SH:24 by HCRG Care Group, we are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Sexual Health Nurse to join our innovative digital clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that is transforming access to sexual and reproductive healthcare across the UK and Ireland through safe, accessible, and patient-centred digital services.

As a Sexual Health Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering expert sexual and reproductive healthcare remotely through telephone, text message, email and digital platforms. You'll support service users throughout their journey, providing clinical advice, communicating results, undertaking safeguarding assessments, and ensuring individuals receive the care and support they need in a professional, compassionate and non-judgemental manner.

Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and innovation whilst helping shape the future of digital sexual health services.


Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality remote sexual and reproductive healthcare advice and support.
  • Communicate STI test results sensitively and effectively via phone, text and digital channels.
  • Undertake safeguarding assessments and appropriately manage and escalate concerns involving children and adults at risk.
  • Provide evidence-based sexual health, contraception and HIV prevention advice.
  • Manage and coordinate service users' care, referrals and onward support.
  • Work autonomously whilst collaborating effectively with colleagues and partner organisations.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, incident management, audits and service development initiatives.
  • Support the continuous improvement of an evolving digital healthcare service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll be an NMC Registered Nurse with substantial sexual health experience and a passion for delivering outstanding care through innovative digital channels.

You will have:

  • NMC Registration.
  • CoSRH Diploma and STIF certification.
  • Experience working within NHS sexual health services.
  • Strong knowledge of sexual and reproductive health.
  • Recent safeguarding experience and confidence managing sensitive situations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
  • The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team.
  • A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach to care.
