Wave Works and Global Exchange Partnership

Wave Works have partnered with a leading global exchange, in implementing a new SFTP solution to support secure, regulated file transfer across its trading and market infrastructure.

They are bringing in niche-skillset contract resource (Inside IR35) to support delivery of this implementation alongside its internal programme team — 3 positions are available on this engagement.

SFTPGo has been chosen however, direct experience with SFTPGo is not required.

This is a mission-critical, tightly regulated environment. The successful candidates will combine strong technical delivery with the security and change discipline expected of a financial exchange.

Key Responsibilities

  • SFTP SME

    • Support the evaluation, technical and security assessment, and hardening of the SFTP platform being introduced at the Client.
    • Manage secure file-transfer architecture: SSH/SFTP configuration, key management, certificate lifecycle, and encryption in transit.
    • Work with security, network and infrastructure teams to align on architecture, resilience and disaster-recovery requirements.
    • Support proof-of-concept, testing, UAT and production rollout, using a phased, controlled approach appropriate to a regulated environment.
    • Document processes, runbooks and operational procedures to support handover into BAU.
    • Work closely with the Client's programme team and technical stakeholders throughout delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
