As an SGT-A35 Senior Service Engineer, you will engage in meaningful projects that improve the operational reliability and efficiency of our Aero derivative gas turbines. Your work will have a significant impact on our global customers, ensuring they receive world-class service and support. Every single day, you will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers from all over the world, encouraging an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture where every idea is valued.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Take ownership and deliver technical solutions for Aero derivative Gas Turbines, addressing both immediate and long-term operational challenges.
- Implement Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques for efficient, cost effective and customer-centric issue resolution.
- Author and update Service Documentation, including Service Bulletins, Service Technical Instructions, and Troubleshooting Guides.
- Collaborate with customers to present updates on technical issues, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
- Work together with different teams throughout the organization to successfully implement solutions.
- Travel occasionally to other Siemens and customer sites worldwide to provide onsite support and expertise.
- Involve in support of R&D projects that aim to improve the Key Performance Indicators of the SGT-A35, including safety, reliability or efficiency.

What You Bring
- A degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Expertise in Materials or Manufacture in aerospace industry or gas turbines is highly desirable.
- Proven knowledge of holistic gas turbine operations, hardware, and repair & overhaul processes.
- Proficient in the application of Root Cause Analysis techniques and tools.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Experience collaborating effectively with diverse teams worldwide.
- Extensive experience in industrial gas turbines or aero jet engines.
