Join us as a Share Plans Manager

We’ll look to you to manage complex share plan projects to deliver a positive share plan experience for colleagues. You’ll provide advice on a range of share plan and share based remuneration issues, ensuring compliance with the bank’s legal and regulatory obligations. Champion colleague financial education and make a far-reaching impact through your work. We're offering this role for a period of six months.

What You’ll Do

As a Share Plans Manager, you’ll advise on the implementation and operation of the bank’s share plans and work with key internal stakeholders, such as Reward & Employment, Tax and Treasury and external advisors such as the share plan administrator and employee benefit trust trustee. You’ll be managing and supporting the delivery of share plan grant and vest events, including the share sourcing approach and settlement strategy and overseeing the annual Sharesave offer and maturity.

Alongside this, you’ll be leading on the share plan global due diligence project, working in conjunction with the bank’s external legal and tax advisors. You’ll also be providing practical and commercial advice on the application of the bank’s discretionary and all-employee share plan rules.

You’ll Also Focus On

  • Owning, drafting and ensuring the timely publication or submission of the bank’s share plan related disclosure, reporting and filing requirements
  • Being responsible for the day-to-day relationship with the bank’s share plan administrator and other external advisors
  • Using feedback, data insights and industry best practice to enhance colleague experience and financial education
  • Curating the bank’s share plans communications strategy and ensuring all relevant collateral is clear, accurate and engaging
  • Supporting the wider Corporate Governance team on share-based remuneration issues, including providing input into policy reviews, owning the director shareholding policies and handling share dealing queries

The Skills You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need deep knowledge and experience of the design, compliance and delivery considerations of operating share plans globally.

Furthermore, You’ll Need

  • To be a collaborative team player that’s capable of building good working relationships up to an executive level across the bank
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • Sound understanding and experience of global share plan legislation and administration and knowledge of the remuneration regulatory framework that applies to financial services organisations
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, anticipate problems, react to changing priorities, challenge others and assert your views when required
