A leading accountancy and advisory firm is looking to recruit a Share Schemes Assistant Tax Manager to join its specialist Human Capital Advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a share schemes specialist to advise a diverse client base on the implementation and ongoing management of UK and international employee share plans. You'll work on a mix of advisory, compliance and transaction-related projects while building client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the implementation of tax-favoured and non-tax favoured share schemes, including EMI, CSOP, Growth Shares and LTIPs.
- Provide specialist support on transactions, due diligence and share valuations.
- Manage annual share scheme compliance, including HMRC registrations and returns.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying advisory opportunities.
- Review work, mentor junior colleagues and support team development.
- Liaise with HMRC and collaborate with internal specialists across tax and corporate finance.

About You
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Strong experience advising on UK employee share schemes and Employment Related Securities legislation.
- Experience managing compliance requirements and HMRC reporting.
- Commercially minded with excellent client relationship and project management skills.
- Confident reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members.
