SharePoint Developer / SharePoint SME
Location: Manchester
Working arrangement: 100% on-site
Contract length: 6 months
Rate: £550 INSIDE
Clearance requirement: BPSS Eligible
Your new company
You will be supporting an organisation with a SharePoint estate spanning both on-premises SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer / SME to work as a 3rd Line Technical Specialist, supporting and evolving a SharePoint estate across on-premises and Microsoft 365 platforms.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience in SharePoint administration, upgrades and development, with particular focus on moving from SharePoint Server 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a 3rd line escalation point for complex SharePoint issues.
- Lead SharePoint Server 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) upgrades.
- Manage and support SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365.
- Help ensure the performance, security and reliability of the SharePoint platform.

Essential skills and experience
- Strong experience with SharePoint Server 2019.
- Experience with SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE).
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365.
- Experience working with SharePoint upgrades, administration and development.
- Ability to operate at 3rd line / SME level supporting complex SharePoint environments.
Desirable skills and experience
- Wider Microsoft 365 experience, including OneDrive, Teams and Exchange Online.
- Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot / AI capabilities.
- Relevant certifications are preferred, including:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
- Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
- Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
