SharePoint Developer Engineer Manchester - 5 days a week onsite
£57,000 - £62,000
We're seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer Engineer to join a leading digital and collaboration team delivering innovative Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting modern SharePoint applications, integrating business-critical systems, and driving digital workplace solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx, and the wider Microsoft technology stack.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong SharePoint specialist who enjoys building custom solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and working directly with stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Build modern SharePoint applications and components using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Integrate SharePoint with third-party business systems, APIs, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop and support automated business processes using Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Work with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs to deliver enhanced functionality and user experiences.
- Provide 3rd Line technical support and troubleshooting for complex SharePoint issues.
- Support SharePoint migrations and modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure solutions follow best practice, security standards, and governance requirements.
- Act as a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and technical leadership across projects.

- Strong experience developing solutions within SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments.
- Proven expertise with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Commercial experience using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience integrating SharePoint with external systems and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
- Experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Understanding of Azure AD authentication and OAuth.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
