Retail Banking | London | Contract Position - 6 Months

THE ROLE

Lead SharePoint Online migration for a specialist retail bank. You'll assess legacy file share environments, design and execute secure migrations, remediate complex permission models, and deliver testing, validation, and cutover support in a regulated environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assess DFS and file share environments; complete migration discovery and regulatory readiness review
  • Plan, configure, and execute SharePoint Online migrations using ShareGate and Link Fixer
  • Design and migrate complex permission models from NTFS/Active Directory to SharePoint/Entra ID
  • Ensure compliance with banking security and data protection requirements
  • Deliver migration testing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover/rollback plans
  • Troubleshoot and optimize migrations; provide technical knowledge transfer

WHO YOU ARE

Essential:

  • Expert SharePoint Online migration experience (mid-to-large scale)
  • Expert capability with ShareGate, Link Fixer, and migration tooling
  • Strong NTFS, Active Directory, Entra ID, and SharePoint permissions knowledge
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Strong Microsoft Purview knowledge
  • Experience in regulated/financial services environments preferred
