Vehicle Management Liaison – Shaw AFB

Must have Active Secret Clearance (Interim not Eligible)

Job Description

The Vehicle Management Liaison (VML) serves as the central coordinator for the GPMS fleet operations at 9AF/AFCENT. They act as the primary point of contact between the contractor and 9AF/AFCENT, analyzing data, managing resources, and ensuring smooth operations. The VML shall provide assistance to the MRAP/JLTV team as needed for JLTV support requirements. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks, coordinating maintenance and support, and facilitating meetings and site visits, all while working closely with the 9AF(AFCENT)/A4 Staff at Shaw AFB, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for compiling and analyzing reports reflecting GPMS vehicle fleet and/or program status and providing recommended course(s) of action based on that information.
  • Coordinate with the Amentum Vehicle Functional Area Manager (FAM) on issues and concerns related to the GPMS Vehicle fleet raised by AFCENT A4RV. Work with the Contractor VM Functional to resolve issues and concerns as necessary.
  • Distribute the Daily Vehicle Report (DVR) to appropriate entities.
  • Compile and distribute monthly Tunner and Halverson Reports.
  • Maintain access and certification in Fleet Management Information Systems to include BLADE, DPAS, SALESFORCE, DLADS, etc. to assist in processing GPMS vehicle transactions.
  • Develop GPMS taskers and RFI’s based on Government requirements and coordinate the taskers through the appropriate channels.
  • Facilitate and coordinate vehicle reconstitution priorities and Air Force Depot program requirements for the GPMS fleet.
  • Coordinate and track outload status of vehicle movements in support of contingency and exercise operations.
  • Provide OPLAN support by assisting in identifying potential GPMS assets and source locations to meet plan(s).
  • Monitor special program progress status, i.e., Fire Truck modifications, and RADR vehicles.
  • Ensure distribution and track progress of TCTO and SBs affecting GPMS vehicles.
  • Assist with specialized Government training required by the contractor.
  • Facilitate the monthly production meeting between the Government and the contractor, assist with meeting recap compilation, and track action/deliverables items.
  • Coordinate GPMS site visits for Government Functional managers.
  • Work at Shaw AFB, SC and be co-located with the USAFCENT A4RV Staff.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license.
  • Must have a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. (Active or Able to pass Clearance Investigation)
  • Maintains access and certifications on FMIS, i.e., DPAS, LIMS-EV, TRT, etc.
  • Must have excellent communicative skills and ability to organize functions/meetings.
  • Able to travel internationally.
  • High school degree or equivalent. Some college highly desirable.
  • Works in normal office environment.
