As Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the safe delivery of a major earthmoving project as part of our site team. Your focus will be on maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a positive safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HSE support and guidance to the site team.
  • Carry out regular site tours and inspections.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with the workforce.
  • Work collaboratively with the client’s SHE team.
  • Deliver HSE training and site inductions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and plans.
  • Produce monthly HSE reports.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Health & Safety experience in construction.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or higher).
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and current H&S legislation.
  • Site-based experience in construction/civil engineering.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with ISO standards.
  • Auditing and inspection skills.
  • Experience in incident investigation.
