SHE Advisor
We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our highways Maintenance and Response Contracts team based in Easton Lane, Coldharbour, or Weatherhill.
Location: Easton Lane (SO23 7TY), Coldharbour (ME20 7NS) or Weatherhill (RH6 9JE) - travel required across Area 3 & 4
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Kier Infrastructure require an enthusiastic SHE Advisor to assist in the management of health, safety and environment across our highways Maintenance and Response Contracts in the South East. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting teams in creating safe, sustainable working environments. You'll be working across multiple locations in Area 3 and 4, collaborating with operational teams and supply chain partners to promote best practice and drive positive change.
What will you be responsible for?
As a SHE Advisor, You'll Be Working Within The Highways Maintenance And Response Contracts Team, Supporting Them In Managing Health, Safety And Environmental Performance. Your Day To Day Will Include
- Undertaking site, depot and office safety and environmental inspections across the region
- Supporting teams to close out actions from investigations, near misses and safety observations
- Advising operational teams on identifying hazards, assessing risks and implementing control measures
- Leading incident investigations to determine and eliminate root causes
- Collating and disseminating data on SHE performance for monthly reporting requirements

What are we looking for?
This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if:
- You hold an Environmental qualification to at least Foundation level and NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
- You have membership of an appropriate professional body
- You have a working understanding of Environmental and Health and Safety legislation, along with knowledge of ISO:14001 & ISO:45001
- You have demonstrable experience in a similar role covering health, safety and environmental disciplines
- You hold a Full driving licence as this role involves regular travel throughout the South East of England
