SHE Advisor

North Wales, UK

Talented people are the key to our success.

We are looking for a motivated and initiative-taking SHE Advisor to join our team supporting the delivery of a major National Grid project during its Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and mobilisation phases. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental performance on a significant infrastructure project.

As a SHE Advisor, you will work closely with project teams to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with legislation and company standards, and support the successful delivery of project objectives. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, exposure to major energy infrastructure works, and the chance to contribute to projects that are critical to the UK's energy network.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards across the project.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with legislation, company procedures, and project requirements.
  • Assist in incident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Promote an initiative-taking and positive safety culture throughout the project team and supply chain.
  • Support project inductions and ensure personnel are aware of SHE responsibilities and expectations.
  • Monitor and report on SHE performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams on SHE matters.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of SHE documentation, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing risk and enhancing project performance.
  • Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders to drive positive SHE outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
