Talented people are the key to our success.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure delivers some of the UK’s most complex and critical infrastructure projects, connecting people, places, and communities through responsible infrastructure. With our people at the heart of everything we do, we deliver safe, innovative, and sustainable solutions across the UK.
We are seeking a SHE Advisor to join our SHEQS team, supporting the delivery of civil engineering and M&E projects on the Clyde Commercial Framework (CCF) at HMNB Faslane. Reporting to the Head of SHEQS, you will provide health and safety support across projects from ECI through to delivery, helping to maintain the highest safety standards within a highly regulated environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing team on a long-term framework, gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects while supporting one of the UK's most significant defence infrastructure programmes.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide proactive health and safety support to project teams undertaking civil engineering and M&E works across the Faslane site.
- Support projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from ECI and planning stages through to construction and handover.
- Advise operational teams on compliance with health and safety legislation, company standards, and client requirements.
- Undertake site inspections, audits, and assurance activities to monitor compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, ensuring lessons learned are shared effectively.
- Assist project teams in the development and review of risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase documentation.
- Promote a positive safety culture and drive behavioural safety initiatives across the framework.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
- Support programme-level SHEQS objectives, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build collaborative relationships with client representatives, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure best practice is embedded across all activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
