SHE Manager
We are looking for a SHE Manager to join the Cadent framework.

This opportunity is to lead the Contract SHE functions, provide SHE solutions and enable the Contract Leadership / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System. To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of SHE Performance on the Contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and provide line management to direct reports and liaise with wider SHE Team
- Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients and other Stakeholders and compliance with the SHE Management System and Contract Performance
- Ensure delivery of training and coaching, by competent individuals, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System
- Be actively involved in the appointment and ongoing assessment of the Contracts Supply Chain Contractors
- Actively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives
- Develop & implement a Contract SHE Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements
- Ensure all unplanned events and assurance findings are categorised, investigated and lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System
- Timely reporting, analysis and use of SHE data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team and where required develop and implement data-based improvement plans

QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive construction and utility sector experience and knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (from MD to the people on site and through supply chain)
- Drive, enthusiasm, passion, care, can manage a situation to improvement
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to take a risk management mindset to situations
- Lead and inspire a team
- Ability to inspire confidence within our client, understanding their requirements and able to demonstrate a clear plan
- Ability to report on tactical measures
- Significant relevant SHE experience in relevant industry and over Experience of managing and training others
- CMIOSH or MIEMA or equivalent
- Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Line Managers toolkit or equivalent.
